National Cup 2026: FBA and JCA Kings Crowned

The Palais des Sports de Treichville hosted the finals of the 53rd edition of the Ivorian National Cup on Thursday, delivering an exciting atmosphere and two intense championship games. Friends Basketball Association (FBA) claimed the women’s title, while JCA Kings lifted the men’s trophy.
In the women’s final, FBA faced Société Omnisports de l'Armée (SOA) in a battle between two of the season’s strongest teams. Despite several comeback attempts from SOA, FBA remained composed in key moments and secured an 81–73 victory. Their efficient offense and execution in crucial possessions proved decisive, allowing them to add another title to their growing legacy.
The men’s final featured an anticipated showdown between JCA Kings and Association Sportive d'Adjame (ASA). ASA kept the game competitive for long stretches, but JCA Kings elevated their level in the closing minutes. Their collective discipline and experience ultimately led them to a 66–59 victory and another national crown.
The latest title further confirms the rise of JCA Kings. Following their recent exposure on the African stage through the BAL, the club continues to build momentum and establish itself as one of the dominant forces in Ivorian basketball.
