Club Africain Claims Tunisian Cup Title

Club Africain added another major trophy to its history after defeating Union Sportive Monastirienne 67–50 in the final of the Tunisian Basketball Cup played in Radès. The victory secures Club Africain’s eighth Tunisian Cup title and confirms the club’s exceptional momentum heading into the BAL 2026 playoffs.
After a tightly contested opening quarter, Club Africain gradually took control through defensive intensity and better execution on both ends of the floor. Their ability to limit Monastir’s offensive rhythm proved decisive as the gap widened in the second half.
The title further strengthens Club Africain’s status as one of the continent’s most in-form teams. Already impressive during their BAL debut campaign, the Tunisian giants now head to Kigali with growing confidence ahead of their quarterfinal showdown against Al Ahly Ly.
This latest success also reinforces the strong resurgence of Tunisian basketball on the African stage, with Club Africain emerging as a serious contender for continental honors in 2026.
